Floydada students recently showcased their skills and dedication at the Texas Association of Future Educators (TAFE) competition, demonstrating their commitment to excellence in education. A talented group of students, including Ava Gonzalez, Paola Sotelo, Chloye Criswell, Wesley Crowe, Renae Delgado, Tavianne Bullock, Allyson Romero, Callie Brittain, Bailey McHam, Mariah Wickware, Amberlyn Martinez, Emery Perez, Enzo Coursey, and Jalila Ramirez, proudly represented Floydada at the event.
The competition proved to be a remarkable success for Floydada’s participants. Callie Brittain and Siann Salazar earned the prestigious Gold Award for Yearbook, while Chloye Criswell and Callie Brittain secured another Gold Award for their outstanding work in Project Visualize-Fundraising.
Adding to the accolades, Callie Brittain achieved an extraordinary milestone by advancing to Nationals in the Teacher Created Materials category. She will have the opportunity to compete on a national stage in June in Orlando, Florida, bringing pride to her school and community.
The students’ achievements reflect the dedication and guidance of their sponsor, Jayme Osuna, who has played an instrumental role in preparing them for success. Floydada continues to make its mark in the field of future educators, and the community looks forward to supporting Callie Brittain as she competes at Nationals this summer.
Congratulations to all the students for their hard work and accomplishments!
