LEVELLAND, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds played in the bi-district round of the playoffs on Tuesday against the Farwell Steers.
The Whirlwinds jumped out to an early 14-10 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Floydada continued their momentum in the second quarter, going into the locker room for halftime with the lead 32-23.
Farwell fought back in the third quarter, however, the Whirlwinds scored a game high 22 points in the fourth quarter to secure the victory 65-55.
The Whirlwinds will face Gruver in the area round of the playoffs.
