FLOYD COUNTY, TX – Floyd County 4-H youth hit the ground running this week as they launched their rifle practice sessions in preparation for the upcoming district rifle contest this spring. The dedicated 4-H members are sharpening their skills, working hard to perfect their aim, and building the teamwork and discipline needed for success.
Among the participants, the Senior 4-H team is setting their sights on ambitious goals, with aspirations of qualifying for the State Rifle Contest once again this year. This talented group of shooters has already achieved an impressive feat, earning a spot in the state competition for the past three consecutive years—a remarkable accomplishment that speaks to their commitment, focus, and skill.
