FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds played host to the Tahoka Bulldogs on Tuesday in a district matchup.
The Whirlwinds jumped out to an early 20-8 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Continued pressure in the second allowed the Whirlwinds to extend their lead 49-27 going into halftime.
Floydada was able to close the game out in the second half to secure the 90-45 victory over the Bulldogs.
The Whirlwinds were led in scoring by Ty Henderson (22 points), Braun Hobbs (18 points), Sergio Valadez (17 points), and Logan Smith (10 points).
With the win on Tuesday, the Whirlwinds move to 18-9 overall and 6-1 in district.
