FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were in district action on Tuesday as they played host to the Tahoka Lady Bulldogs.
In the first quarter, the Lady Winds were able to jump out to a 10-7 lead.
Floydada would score a game-high 20 points in the second quarter to extend their lead 30-15 going into halftime.
The Lady Winds would secure the game in the second half, getting the 44-30 win over the Lady Bulldogs.
Katelynn Ramirez led the Lady Winds in scoring with 11 points.
Also contributing to the win on Tuesday was Soriah Wickware (10 points) and Madison Pyle (10 points).
The Lady Winds moved to 14-11 overall and 5-4 in district.
