FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds hosted the Post Antelopes on Friday in a district battle.
Floydada was able to set the tone early in the game, jumping out to a 18-9 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Continued pressure in the second quarter, the Whirlwinds extended their lead going into halftime, 41-19.
The Whirlwinds would close the game out in the second half to secure the victory on Friday, 93-44.
Floydada was led in scoring by Ty Henderson with 30 points and 9 rebounds.
Also contributing to the win on Friday was Braun Hobbs (25 points & 11 rebounds), Sergio Valadez (17 points & 6 rebounds), and Manny Delafuente (15 points).
