LOCKNEY, TX – It has been an incredibly exciting week for the Lockney Longhorn Band, and we are proud to report some fantastic achievements! A huge congratulations goes out to all of the talented students who auditioned for the All-Region Band this year.
The All-Region Band process is no small feat. It requires countless hours of dedicated practice, discipline, and commitment. These students have not only demonstrated exceptional musical ability but also an incredible work ethic to reach this level of excellence. Their dedication has truly paid off.
A special congratulations to the following students who have earned a spot in the All-Region Band this year. Their hard work and perseverance have earned them this prestigious recognition, and they will be performing at the Lubbock Civic Center Theater on January 25.
This year, Lockney Longhorn Band has set a new milestone, breaking the previous combined All-Region record of 33 set in 2024. This year, 44 Lockney students have earned spots in the All-Region Band, setting an exciting new record and showcasing the outstanding musical talent coming from this band.
This achievement speaks volumes about the dedication, talent, and spirit of the Lockney Band program, and we are incredibly proud of each student who contributed to this record-breaking accomplishment. Their hard work not only elevates the band but also sets an example of excellence for future generations of musicians at Lockney.
Congratulations once again to all of the students who auditioned, and a special round of applause to those who made it into the All-Region Band! We can’t wait to see you perform at the Lubbock Civic Center Theater and celebrate this remarkable achievement.
