MUNCY, TX—Today marks the exciting kickoff of the 2025 Floyd County Stock Show Week, a much-anticipated event for our dedicated young showmen and women! From our enthusiastic third graders to our hardworking high school seniors, this week promises to be a showcase of talent, determination, and hard work.
This year, we are thrilled to announce 240 entries across various categories, including rabbits, poultry, cattle, swine, goats, and lambs. Each exhibitor has spent countless hours preparing and caring for their animals to ensure they are ready for this week’s competition. For many, this is the culmination of months of effort, and they are eager to share the results of their hard work.
The show officially kicks off today (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM with the Rabbit Show. We encourage our community to come out and support these young people as they present their projects throughout the week. Whether you’re a parent, neighbor, or community member, your presence means the world to these exhibitors. Every cheer and word of encouragement boosts their confidence and reinforces the values of hard work, responsibility, and community spirit.
