LOCKNEY, TX – This past Saturday evening in the charming town of Lockney, Remington Ricketts, with the Floyd County Record, married the woman of his dreams, Hannah Kidd. The beautiful ceremony united Hannah, the daughter of Tracy and Shandra Kidd of Lockney, with Remington, the son of Tony and Pam Ricketts of Floydada.
While some might call it a bit of a county rivalry — Lockney and Floydada aren’t the closest neighbors — this couple’s love story proves that nothing else matters when it’s meant to be. Despite the playful banter that often comes with being from opposite sides of the county line, their union is a testament to the power of love, unity, and the blending of two wonderful families. Both the Kidd and Ricketts families were overjoyed to share in this special moment, celebrating the beginning of what promises to be a beautiful journey together.
