FLOYDADA, TX – Two area volunteer fire departments received donations last week totaling $10,000.
The Floydada Fire Department and the Matador/Motley County Fire Department each accepted a $5,000 donation from First Texas National Bank in Floydada.
“Our local volunteer firefighters are the heart of our communities, and their tireless efforts ensure the safety of our families and neighbors,” said T.K. Farris, CEO of FTNB.
“First Texas National Bank is honored to support these dedicated volunteers who answer the call to serve, often at great personal sacrifice. This donation is our way of saying ‘thank you’ for all they do.”
