TAHOKA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were on the road on Friday as they battled the Tahoka Lady Bulldogs in a district battle.
Tahoka would get a 16-12 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The Lady Bulldogs scored a game-high 17 points in the second quarter to extend their lead 33-24 going into halftime.
Floydada’s second half comeback was not enough, as the Lady Winds fell to Tahoka 56-48.
The Lady Winds were led in scoring by Soriah Wickware who had a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.
Lady Winds move to 2-1 in district play and 10-6 overall.
