LOCKNEY, TX—The Lockney General Hospital Board met last month and learned that in most departments, hospital and clinic service volumes were higher in August than in the past three months.
During the month, clinic providers handled 939 visits, including 162 patient visits for the new clinic physician Dr. Benacci.
During the month, there were eight acute admissions for 27 patient days and eight observation patients, and the emergency room provided service for 187 visits.
The lab performed 3,615 tests, and radiology provided 273, including 53 CT scans.
Total gross revenue for August was $1,598,614 compared to a budget of $1,829,158 and $1,976,525 in August 2023. Other operating revenue was $40,528. Adjustments were $935,477. Overall expenses were below budget at $873,608, and non-operating income was $91,812, which brought the net loss to $78,131 for the month.
