FLOYDADA, TX – In most situations, teachers and staff assist students in learning. However, at Floydada Collegiate High School, students are helping a teacher.

Coach Brandon Wickware is dealing with kidney failure, and last week, students in TAFE – a modern-day version of Future Teachers – held a benefit dinner to raise funds to assist the FLoydada native with costs associated with his battle.

Soon, others started donating to his healthcare fund, and at last check, more than $20,000 had been raised. Part of the goal is to get Wickware back on a transplant list,

If you want to assist, please get in touch with Floydada Collegiate High School for more information.
