FLOYDADA, TX—The Floydada Whirlwinds will try to rebound from a disappointing loss last week when they host Smyer in another contest tonight.
The Winds lost to the Lockney Longhorns in a non-district match, relinquishing the Floyd County Championship trophy and reducing their season record to 1-1.
The Bobcats are struggling this year. The 0-2 team has been outscored 106-8, including a shutout last week by Ralls.
Friday night’s game, which kicks off at 7:00 p.m. at Tyer Field, will be broadcast live on 106.1 Flip-FM (and online at www.FloydCountyRecord.com).
