FLOYDADA, TX – FOr the first time since 2021, Lockney holds the Floyd County Championship Trophy after defeating the Whirlwinds 42-23 Friday night.
The Longhorns were led by Dyllan Thiebaud, who had a hand in six touchdowns, including three through the air, two on the ground, and one on a kickoff return.
Lockney improves to 1-1 with the win, while Floydada falls to 1-1.
