FLOYDADA, TX – In 1994, Dr. William Dean, DDS, opened a dental office to serve Floyd and surrounding counties, a service he provided for 25 years. Today, that service continues at Floydada Family Dentistry under the ownership of Dr. Thomas Stewart, DDS.
“The office is big on serving the community. We provide mouth guards to the football team, support the marching band, and provide meals to FCISD teachers and staff,” according to Stewart and his team, consisting of Gracie Diaz (office manager/assistant), Kyarah Pesina (Dental Assistant), Angelica Martinez (Front Desk), Ana Kidd (Dental Hygienist), and Lauryn Carthel (Dental Hygienist).
“Being located in Floyd County allows us to serve Lockney and Floydada and provide great dental care to the surrounding communities. Without our presence here, those seeking care must travel long distances.”
They also pride themselves on being rooted in the area. Gracie, Kyarah, and Angelica all live in Floydada; Ana and Lauryn hail from Lockney. Dr. Stewart and his wife, Sami, work in Floydada, and their children, Joshua and Michael, attend school there as well.
