FLOYDADA, TX—The Floydada Collegiate ISD School Board will make final hiring decisions tonight as it confirms new hires and accepts and finalizes resignations.
In addition, the board will consider and possibly take action on adopting a proposed tax rate for the 2024-2025 school year and considering the district’s budget for the same period.
Trustees will hear how M&O values have increased over the past year, from $292,557,014 to $376,679,704, but the I&S values have slipped from $563,972,380 to $525,562,501.
The agenda also calls for consideration and action on adult meal prices, staff development waivers, student accident insurance, a bid for a security system, adjunct faculty members, property and casualty insurance for the term, and the adoption of a student code of conduct.
The meeting begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday (07/30/24) in the Board Conference Room.
