Connie Luna (Floydada)
Connie Luna, 70 of Floydada, Tx, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on July 2, 2024 in Floydada, Tx. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 6, 2024 at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Floydada with Father Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Floyd County Memorial Park in Floydada. Viewing will be 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2024 with Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at Moore-Rose Funeral Home in Floydada. Arrangements are under the personal care of Moore-Rose Funeral Home of Floydada.
Connie was born May 15, 1954 in Littlefield, Tx to Salvador and Leandra Barrientos.
Connie was raised in Floydada, where she met and married her High school sweetheart, Robert. Robert and Connie were married August 30, 1972. Together they had 6 children, Kathy, Bobby, Jennifer, Felisha, Kayla and Kimberly. Connie was a stay at home mom and a homemaker. She loved to listen to music, dance and spend time with her family. She was the life of the party. Connie especially enjoyed spending time with her Grandkids and making funny TikTok’s with them. Connie was her grandkids biggest supporter and attended every game or school event that she could. She was the best Nana in the world.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Luna, her daughter, Katherine Luna, and two great granddaughters, Heaven Faith and Nevaeh Hope Segura, her parents, Salvador and Leandra Barrientos, four brothers, Manuel Juarez, Sr., Trinidad Juarez, Estevan Juarez, Joe Barrientos, Sr. & Manuel Barrientos, Sr, three sisters, Frances Juarez, Virginia Love & Maria Elena Cisneros.
Connie had 14 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.
Connie is survived by her children, Bobby Luna and Jennifer Luna (Damon) of Lubbock, Tx., Felisha Cavazos and Kayla Luna (Joseph) of Floydada, Tx. and Kimberly Luna (Bill) of Wyalusing, PA, three brothers, Salvador Barrientos, Jr. Louie Barrientos, & Tiofilo Juarez, Sr., two sisters, Hope Lopez & Norma Jimenez & many nieces and nephews.
