FLOYDADA, TX – Two Floyd County precincts will be sporting new equipment following a recent Commissioner vote.
On Monday, the Court approved a bid to purchase a new Caterpillar motor grader for Precinct One for $175,980.
While the original plan was to purchase a second motor grader for Precinct Four in fiscal year 2025, Judge Marty Lucke said it was available right now, so Commissioners voted to take out a 180-day note for $215,000 now and pay the note off when the new year begins in October.
