FLOYDADA, TX – After three months in a Dallas hospital, 14-year-old Toby Zepeda returned home to streets lined with family and friends on Friday.
Community members greeted him by honking horns and displaying signs along East Houston Street welcoming the soon-to-be high school freshman back home.
Toby endured a “very big surgery” at Children’s Medical Center on April 26th, according to his mother, Laura Zepeda, and has been recovering at Scottish Rite before returning home this weekend.
