Neomi married the Love of her Life, Abel Machado, on December 15, 1990.  She was a devoted wife and loved her husband unconditionally.  They lived a beautiful life together and made everlasting memories.

Neomi was a robust, independent woman devoted to her family and faith.  She was known for cherishing family and enjoying a life filled with love and laughter.  Neomi had an impact on everyone lucky enough to know her.  She was a second mother to all siblings, nieces, and nephews.  She gave us memories too beautiful to forget.  She will be missed dearly but forever in our hearts. Time has not dimmed our memory of our cherished Neomi. We cannot forget her smile, laughter, and love for family. Neomi loved all, and everyone loved her back. Her life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. Our world will not be the same without her in it.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents: father, Roberto Huerta; mother, Angela Huerta; sister, Silvia Valladarez; and baby Huerta.

Neomi is survived by her loving husband, Abel Machado; her siblings Robert Huerta (Alicia); Elvia Montez (Phillip), Noelia Barrientos (Joe), Maria Brice (Jason), and Olivia Lopez (John); and an abundance of nieces, nephews and great nieces/nephews.
