SUDAN, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds traveled to Sudan on Tuesday to play the Nettes in a district game.
The Lady Winds got on the board in the top of the first inning with two runs, taking a 2-0 lead.
Floydada’s offense would continue in the second inning, adding five more runs and extending their lead 7-0.
In the top of the third inning, Floydada added nine more runs, going up 16-0.
Sudan would score three in the bottom of the third, but the Lady Winds defense would secure the 19-3 victory in the fourth inning.
The Lady Winds move to 17-4 overall and 7-0 in district play.
