OLTON, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds traveled to Olton to battle the Mustangs in a district matchup.
The Mustangs managed to get on the board in the bottom of the first inning, scoring two and taking a 2-0 lead.
Floydada scored one run in the top of the third, but Olton answered back with six runs in the third and three in the fourth to secure the victory 11-1 over Floydada.
The Whirlwinds fall to 2-11 overall and 0-4 in district play.
