CANYON, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds were matched up against Boys Ranch in the first round of the playoffs on Monday in Canyon.
The Lady Winds started the game with a 13-3 lead at the end of the first quarter.
Floydada was able to extend their lead going into halftime 32-10.
Boys Ranch was held to just 10 points in the second half as the Lady Winds secured the victory 60-20.
The Lady Winds were led in scoring by junior Katelynn Ramirez with 14 points.
Floydada’s Soriah Wickware contributed a double-double in the win on Monday with 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Floydada will be matched against Gruver in the second round of the playoffs.
