HALE CENTER, TX – The Lockney Longhorns traveled to Hale Center to battle the Owls in a district game on Tuesday.
Hale Center started the game with defensive pressure, causing multiple Longhorn turnovers that led into points for the Owls and they had the lead 24-12 at the end of the first quarter.
The Owls were able to extend their lead in the second quarter as the teams went into halftime with Hale Center leading 56-29.
Lockney tried to fight back in the second half, but would fall short to the Owls 86-48.
The Longhorns fall to 3-9 in district play and will look ahead to their next game against Sudan.
