LUBBOCK, TX – Lockney Band students performed at the all-region band auditions on Thursday, January 18th.
The competition featured close to 1000 students from across the region for a chance to perform as a part of the All-Region Band.
The Lockney Middle School Band performed in the morning and had 16 students selected as all-region.
The high school band also had 16 members that earned a spot in the all-region band.
Lockney’s Bryson Klein made the Region Honor Band.
The historic accomplishment gives Lockney a new school record of 32 students in all-region.

All-Region Weekend is this weekend, with rehearsals set for Friday and the concert to be held at the Lubbock Civic Center on Saturday.
