Hospital District Experiences Profitable Month on Increased Activity

LOCKNEY, TX – More activity during the month of November led to increased volumes for the Lockney General Hospital District and a profit of nearly $107,000.

During their monthly meeting, trustees learned that Clinic visits totaled 860, and there were 16 acute admissions for 52 patient days with 17 observation patients.

Other highlights included 211 ER visits, eight procedures performed, 3,876 lab tests, 387 Radiology tests, and 72 CT scans for November.

The total gross revenue (charges) for the month of November was $1,937,372 compared to a budget of $1,829,158 and $1,679,503 in November 2022. Other operating revenue was $78,731. With adjustments at $1,008,648, overall expenses at $964,416, and non-operating revenue of $63,955, the net gain was $106,995 for the month.

The next meeting for the Hospital District will be Wednesday at 12:00 noon.
