FLOYDADA, TX – The Lockney Longhorns made the short trip to battle the Floydada Lady Winds in district action on Tuesday night.
The Lady Horns came out strong in the first quarter, taking a 9-3 lead, however the Lady Winds fought back to end the quarter up 12-11.
Floydada started to apply the pressure in the second and took control, extending their lead to 39-14 going into halftime.
In the third quarter, the Lady Winds continued to control the game with their 3-Point shots (6 in the quarter) and went up 71-24.
Floydada would close the game out in the fourth quarter, 86-31, and move to 4-0 in district play and 15-3 overall.
Lockney moves to (0-11, 0-4) and will host Ralls on Friday.
