LUBBOCK, TX – The Floydada Whirlwinds will return from the Christmas break to continue their season as they are in the 2023 Caprock Classic High School Tournament that is taking place from December 28–30.
This is the 64th year of the tournament, with a total of 119 teams (the most teams in tournament history) preparing to make their bracket runs all throughout Lubbock County this year.
The #7-ranked 2A Whirlwinds (10-5) will see their first game on Thursday against Iowa Park (8-6) at 3:00 p.m. in the Lubbock Christian High School Gym.
