LOCKNEY, TX – The Lockney Lady Horns were in action on Tuesday night as they hosted the Roosevelt Lady Eagles in a non-district game.
In the first quarter, both teams struggled offensively, but Roosevelt managed to pull ahead with a 9-5 lead.
The Lady Eagles continued their momentum into the second quarter as they went into halftime with a 20-9 lead.
Lockney tried to battle back in the second half but ultimately fell to Roosevelt 46-23.
The Lady Horns were led in scoring by Abery Ascensio, who had 9 points and 7 rebounds.
The Lady Horns move to 0-7 overall and will look ahead to the Lockney Tournament this weekend.
