FLOYDADA, TX – October was a quiet month for the Floydada Volunteer Fire Department.
First responders were called out for three fires, and all were agricultural-related.
On October 10, crews responded to a hay bailer and grass fire at FM786 & CR180 during the morning and were called back out in the early afternoon for another fire at FM786 & CR181.
Then, on October 29, a crew responded to a heating lamp burning hay bedding inside animal pens at the Floydada ISD AG Barn.
