FLOYD COUNTY, TX – Friday’s district games are the final games of the regular season, and with the playoffs in sight, Floyd County teams prepare for important games.
For the Floydada Whirlwinds (5-4, 1-3), Friday is a must-win game against Olton if they have any hopes of reaching the playoffs.
The Lockney Longhorns (6-2, 3-1) will secure their first district title since 2004 with a win over Bovina on Friday.
