HALE CENTER, TX – The Lockney Longhorns traveled to Hale Center on Friday to play against the Owls in a district matchup.
Hale Center would strike first and have a 7-0 lead after the first quarter.
The Longhorns would respond in the second and go into halftime with a 9-7 lead.
In the third quarter, the Owls found the end zone twice to take a 20-9 lead.
Lockney would try to fight back late in the fourth quarter; however, they were stopped short and were defeated by Hale Center 27-21.
The Longhorns move to (6-2, 3-1) and will host Bovina in their final regular-season game on Friday.
