LOCKNEY, TX – Taxpayers within the Lockney Hospital District will see a decrease in their tax rate this year, according to Vince DiFranco, CEO of WJ Mangold Memorial Hospital.
Back in August, the Board approved a tax rate of $0.60944, down about five cents per $100 valuation from 2022 ($0.65970).
In addition, the rate is lower than the rate set four years ago, in 2020 ($0.611240).
