FLOYDADA, TX – Taxpayers in the Floydada Collegiate Independent School District will see a decrease in their tax rate for this year.
Following a board meeting on Tuesday night, trustees approved the new tax rate of 1.3135, down from 1.5196 last year.
The Board also approved the budget for 2023-2024, which will result in a deficit budget of -$2.683 million compared to last year’s deficit budget of -$2.684 million.
The next meeting for FCISD trustees will be September 12, 2023.
