FLOYDADA, TX – Floyd County Commissioners meet this morning to present designated ARPA funds to the City of Floydada on completion of their water storage project. The storage facility south of the city replaces an aging system and brings the city’s water service in compliance with State requirements.
The Court will also discuss and possibly take action on accepting a proposal for remodeling the JP Office in Lockney.
In other agenda items, there will be discussion/action on approval of the deputation of Taylor Howerton, on approval of Sheriff’s Fees for 2024, and on accepting the Sheriff’s resignation from the position of Emergency Management Coordinator (EMC).
The meeting begins at 8:00 am.
