FLOYDADA, TX – The Floydada Lady Winds softball team continues to receive awards for their 2022–2023 season.
TXSWA’s website describes the association as, “The Texas Sports Writers Association promotes the recognition of the athletic accomplishments of Texas high school student-athletes by selecting athletes for the TXSWA’s All-State teams and recognizing the accomplishments of the Texas High School coaches for their outstanding work with the future leaders of America.”
The 2023 Blue Bell / Texas Sports Writers Association has awarded three players from the Lady Winds as recipients for the 2A All-State Team.
Carisa Fernandez – First Team Outfield
Danielle Zavala – Second Team Outfield
Analise Perez – Third Team Shortstop
