FLOYDADA, TX – A longtime staple of the downtown community is reappearing and disappearing simultaneously.
Once known as Solomon Jewelry, the Floydada Economic Development Corporation (EDC) purchased the building earlier this year, and based on the physical condition of the property, the EDC decided to demolish the structure.
The group has not announced its future plan for the property and the adjoining property on the corner of Main Street and Missouri, which was demolished a few years ago.
