Cleva Mae Little (Plainview)
Cleva Mae Little was born June 24, 1933, and passed away on July 15, 2023. Cleva was born in Lockney, Texas, to Russell and Gertrude Crouch. Cleva began school in Providence, Texas but graduated from Lockney High School in 1951. Cleva loved playing basketball, and in her senior year, her team went to state.
Cleva married Marlin Little on April 18, 1954. They lived in Plainview, having two daughters. They moved to Goodland, Kansas, before moving back to Plainview. Cleva worked in the family business for many years before retiring.
Cleva was preceded in death by her parents, Russell & Gertrude Crouch; her husband, Marlin Little; and her brother, Doyle Crouch.
Those left are her daughters, Reba Bailey, Brenda Davis, and husband Fred; her grandson, Mathew Little, and wife Rebekah Urban; her sisters, Karen Battenhorst and husband Gerald, Gaynell McLemore; her brothers, Russell Crouch and wife Aisa, Charles Crouch, L. Ray Crouch.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 29. 2023 in the Kornerstone Chapel with Rev. Steve Martin, Interim Healthcare and Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Burial will follow at the Plainview Cemetery under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
