DALLAS, TX – Nine members of Floydada Collegiate High School’s FFA were awarded the Lone Star FFA Degree/State FFA Degree this week during the 95th Annual Texas FFA Convention.
Edgar Cervera, Carisa Fernandez, Kyler Gillespie, Hagen Hinsley, Alea Lira, Matthew Luna, Reyna Sanchez, Jaxson Smith, and Derrik Suarez were recognized for developing an outstanding supervised agricultural experience program throughout their FFA career.
The Lone Star FFA Degree/State FFA Degree is the highest degree the state association can bestow upon a member.
The event began Tuesday morning and will conclude on Friday morning.
