Coy Lynn Davis (Lockney)
Coy Lynn Davis, 49, of Lockney, Texas, passed away on July 2, 2023. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 10, 2023, at the Lockney Cemetery.
Coy was born to Thomas and Freda Davis on December 14, 1973. He was born and raised in Lockney, Texas, and graduated from Lockney High School. Coy was honorably discharged from the United States Marine Corps on February 10, 2002. He married Brenda Flores on January 13, 2016, in Lubbock, Texas. They were married for seven wonderful years. Coy attended culinary school and greatly enjoyed grilling and his fire pits. Coy was a wonderful husband, friend, and brother.
Coy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Freda Davis.
Coy is survived by his wife, Brenda Davis; stepchildren, Yamil & Adrianna Lopez of Fort Collins, Colorado; Adrian Cordova & Kimberly Salinas of Plainview, Texas; Joe Salinas III of San Antonio, Texas; Jaimie & Valerie Salinas of Plainview, Texas; two sisters, Lee & Judy Miller of Anna, Texas, and Cathy Davis of Pensacola, Florida; and one brother, Larry Davis of Brownfield.
His pallbearers are Juan Gonzalez, Jaimie Salinas, Kim Salinas, Andrew Rosas, Justyn Hernandez, Phil Deluna, and Savas Chapa. The honorary pallbearer will be Coy’s fur baby, “Ezzy,” followed by his brothers in Arms.
