POST, TX – The Floydada Juniors Baseball team competed in the District 38 Little League All Stars tournament in Post this past week.
They started their tournament by winning their first two games against Tahoka and Post.
Their first loss would come to Idalou in the third round, sending them to the lower bracket.
Floydada would be rematching Post in the lower bracket, and once again Floydada was victorious, sending them to the championship against Idalou.
In the championship rematch, Idalou was able to rally in the last inning of the game to defeat Floydada, giving the Floydada junior team a second-place finish.
Congratulations to the Floydada juniors team as well as all the other teams that competed in the All-Star tournaments this past week.
