Floydada Lady Winds Selected into the 2023 TGCA 2A All-State Team: Carisa Fernandez, Analise Perez, and Danielle Zavala.
FLOYDADA, TX – Three members of the Floydada Lady Winds have been selected into the 2023 Texas Girls Coaches Association 2A Softball All-State Team.
The TGCA is one of the largest associations of coaches in the United States.
Sanctioned by the UIL, the TGCA honors athletes and coaches that are selected by the TGCA members.
Junior Analise Perez was selected as an infield shortstop player on the All-State Team.
Junior Carisa Fernandez was selected as an outfield player. Fernandez was also selected as an alternate for the 2A All-Star Team.
Senior Danielle Zavala was selected as an outfield player for the All-State Team.
