LOCKNEY, TX – On the heels of an anonymous donation of $18,000, the new CT Scan machine at W.J. Mangold Memorial Hospital has been paid off.

During a recent Lockney General Hospital District meeting, CEO Vince DiFranco reported that the total donations had reached $325,500, allowing Philips to be paid in full.

The new equipment upgrade provides hospital staff with the ability to see thirty times more detail than past technology, allowing for earlier detection
of certain types of cancer and noncancerous tumors, heart disease, blood clots, brain and spinal cord injuries, and fractures.
