CANYON, TX – Lockney’s Bryson Klein will return to the State Academic Meet in Austin after placing second in the Class 2A Region I Science contest Friday.
He also was the top scorer in Biology and finished third in Chemistry.
The Lockney sophomore will also compete in Literary Criticism after finishing third at Regionals.
Klein was the top scorer in Austin last year in Biology and finished sixth in Science, and is the only representative from Floyd County to qualify for the state meet on May 17th.
Sudan won the overall school sweepstakes with 165 points to edge out Vega (151) and Plains (111).
