Ledell Brewer (Lockney)
Ledell Brewer, age 93, passed away on April 17, 2023, in Floydada. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 21, 2023, at the Lockney Cemetery, with Rance Young officiating.
Ledell was born December 31, 1929, in Lockney, Texas to James Colvin and Sallie Lena McCoy Colvin. Married Dowell Brewer July 25, 1953, in Clovis, New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Dowell Brewer; four brothers, E.J. Colvin, Lon Colvin, Jake Colvin, and Tom Colvin; nephew James Aldon Colvin.
She is survived by a daughter, Dianne Brewer Rose; a son Terry Brewer and wife, Charlotte; three grandchildren, Shayla Brewer, Taylor Rose, and Johnny Rose; great-grandson, Brae Ballesteros and a niece, Jo Beth Ware.
The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to Lockney Methodist Church, P.O. Box 7, Lockney, Texas 79241.
