Gary Dale Gee (Andrews)
Gary Dale Gee of Andrews, TX, passed away on April 15th, 2023, surrounded by his family.
Gary was born on December 13th, 1953, in Floydada, TX, to Ralph Emory Gee Sr. and Vivian Lurene Weems, both of Floydada. After attending Floydada High School, he moved to Hobbs, NM, to work with his brothers Ralph (Butch) Gee Jr. and Larry Gee in the Heating and Air Conditioning business. While living in Hobbs, he met and married the love of his life Anna Jean Hodges in 1974.
Gary continued to expand his career paths as a Firefighter/EMS/Security Officer at Lea Regional Airport and as a Detective for Lea County Sheriff’s Office. In 1995, Gary found his final home for his career working for the Bettis family businesses for the last 28 years at (NMR Pipeline, LLC) January 2012 – Present and (B&H Maintenance and Construction, INC) February 1995 – January 2012 as the Safety and Human Resources Director.
Gary’s favorite passions were his family & friends, flying his Cessna 172, golf, music, and many other hobbies/talents he acquired over the years. Gary was a Renaissance man and could achieve anything he set out to accomplish. If anyone ever needed help or guidance, he was there, providing exactly what they needed at that moment.
Gary is survived by his wife, Anna Gee, son Sam Gee and his partner Traci Dickenson & her daughters, Meghan Mercado and Kennedy Gonzalez, and brother Larry Gee.
