Volunteer Firefighters Responded to Three Fires in March

FLOYDADA, TX – Firefighters with the Floydada Volunteer Fire Department responded to three calls during March, with two on St. Patrick’s Day.

On March 3, 2023, units responded to a pickup fire on CR 105 that also burned 2 acres of grass.

Two weeks later, on March 17, 2023, firefighters responded to two grass fires ignited by a downed power line 12 miles west on US 70 between FM 602 and FM 28.
