OLTON, TX – The Lockney Longhorns traveled to Olton on Friday to battle the Mustangs in district action.
The Mustangs were able to take the lead in the bottom of the third inning, going up 4-0.
The Longhorns’ offense would come alive in the top of the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings, as they went up 7-4.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, however, the Mustangs would rally to score nine runs and regain the lead, 13-7.
The Longhorns tried to battle back in the top of the seventh inning, but would fall short and were defeated by Olton 13-9.
