Floydada EDC Awards $15,000 to Improve Local Community

FLOYDADA, TX – Two local businesses and the Little League Association were recipients of financial incentives from the Floydada Economic Development Corporation on Thursday.

Kurbside Eats, represented by Amber Ferrer, received $5,000 to upgrade their food trailer, which provides service to Floydada and surrounding communities.

The Scoop, represented by Pamela Ricketts, will receive $5,000 to upgrade their facility with a covered area for seating and video menu monitors.

Finally, Jordan Cornelius, President of the Floydada Little League Association, will accept a $5,000 award for a scoreboard and facility upgrades.
